I´m so proud of them!

The digital technologies can be a great tool for teachers and students during the teaching/learning process. Therefore, I incentive my students to use social media, online games, and apps while studying English. 
That´s, my students have youtube channels, groups on social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp, and we often meet online to play games and speak in English.

About the speaking section.

It is the 3rd section of the TOEFL iBT ®. 
You will have 20 minutes to answer 6 questions. 

Questions 1 and 2 are called the 'independent questions'. You will have 15 seconds to prepare yourself and 45 seconds to answer each question. 

Questions 3 to 6 are called the 'integrated questions'. For the questions 3 and 4 you will have 30 seconds to prepare yourself and 60 seconds to answer, while for the questions 5 and 6, you will have 20 seconds to prepare and 60 seconds to answer the questions. 

For the first 2 questions, be clear and keep things simple. Support your answer using examples and details. 
For the questions 3 to 6, you must repeat everything you heard in the lecture. 

Tips



- When reading any passage, ask yourself what the lecturer wanted to achieve by writing it.

- Organize an outline with the information found in the passage.

- Pay attention to how a passage you are listening to is organized.

- Practice expressing your opinion in English.

Tips!

In the reading section, you will be tested on your ability to understand academic written English.

For the listening section, expand your vocabulary related to the university life.

When doing the speaking section, do not forget of speaking clearly and calmly.

In the writing section, pay attention to your time and always plan before writing.
